In this work we performed an algorithm to analyze an image captured with a 6-band camera, which performs an analysis to determine the number of bands, the separation into individual bands and the operation of band algebra, the results show that you can analyze and process multispectral images, making various operations, depending on the use, the algorithm presented can be used with images that have different numbers of bands as well as different resolutions. The algorithm was implemented using the MATLAB tool, in the realization of all the processes.Publicación Sólo datos Application of neural networks in the teacher selection process(2023-01-31) Christian Ovalle; Wilver Auccahuasi; Sandra Meza; Karin Franklin-Cordova-Buiza; Miryam Rojas; Miryam Cosme; Gabriel Inciso-Rojas; Hernando Martin Campos Aiquipa; Alfonso Martínez; Aly FuentesThe information and communications technologies are revolutionizing the classic ways of carrying out the processes, in particular, for the teacher selection processes we have the classic form of evaluation, according to the criteria of each educational institution, in the present work it is presented a teacher selection model, using neural networks, using 3 criteria and 23 characteristics, which are entered into individual networks for each criterion and additionally a network for the final classification, is presented based on a prototype, an application developed with the computational tool Matlab, which is described in detail for its application and scaling, for purposes of measuring the performance of the network, evaluations were carried out with a group of 30 candidates, grouped into two groups, a group of 15 candidates with positive conditions complying with the policies of the educational institution and a second group with candidates who do not meet the policies of the educational institution, with which sensitivity values of 93% and a specificity level of 86% were obtained, we conclude that the model presented can be replicated and conditioned to the needs and policies of each educational institution.Publicación Sólo datos Application of the scrum methodology in the design of medical equipment prototypes(2022-08-29) Wilver Auccahuasi; Sandra Meza; Emelyn Porras; Milagros Reyes; Lucas Herrera; Christian Ovalle; Hernando Martin Campos Martínez; Karin Rojas; Miryam Inciso-Rojas; Aly AuccahuasiIn these times we are living, which has been affected mainly by the pandemic of Covid-19, in this sense many national and private institutions, from different business areas, are starting business models related to the manufacture of medical equipment, in this sense, in this paper, we indicate a method to develop medical equipment, under the SCRUM methodology, to leverage resources and improve project management, the methodology develops six major groups of activities known as Sprint, the first related to the analysis of requirements, the second with the analysis of the regulations to be met, the third related to the design of the prototype consisting of hardware and software components, the fourth related to quality testing by measuring the patterns, the fifth related to testing on patients and the sixth with the evaluation with an entity that qualifies and issues the final authorization of use, we explain the methodology in general so that it can be applied and scaled to different types of equipment.Publicación Sólo datos Low-Cost System for Recording Electroencephalography Signals(2022-08-29) Wilver Auccahuasi; Sandra Meza; Kety Sifuentes; Daysi Mancco; Lucas Herrera; Christian Ovalle; Hernando Martin Campos Martínez; Karin Rojas; Miryam Inciso-Rojas; Aly AuccahuasiInformation and communication technologies present us with a variety of equipment that can measure physiological signals at affordable costs, which in previous years could pay high costs, one of these equipment is the recording of EEG signals, with a single solid state sensor, the MindWave - NeuroSky equipment, which is normally used to measure the state of meditation and concentration. In the present work we present a not widely used configuration of this device, for recording EEG signals, as a result, we present the EEG signals, in the following order delta, theta, low-alpha, high-alpha, low-beta, high-beta, low-gamma and mid-gamma. As a result we present in graphical mode, each of the signals, the presented method can be used in the diagnosis of different pathologies related to the behavior of the brain.Publicación Sólo datos Method to Increase Virtual Interactivity, through Virtual Reality Technology, Aplied to Engieering Students(2022-08-29) Wilver Auccahuasi; Sandra Meza; Alfonso Fuentes; Grisi Bernardo; Lucas Herrera; Christian Ovalle; Hernando Martin Campos Martínez; Karin Rojas; Miryam Inciso-Rojas; Aly AuccahuasiInformation and communication technologies are changing the paradigms in the development of activities and ways of learning, one of these changes in the way of performing academic activities, where today there are many resources on the network available for review, in the case of engineering students, we can indicate as an example activities related to the practice of programming languages, where it is required to visualize the programmed activities, at the same time it is required to analyze programming language manuals, also you can view videos about applications, and also have the language development interface and finally the console where you can view the results in the execution, these requirements make it possible that a single monitor does not meet the requirements needed, in this research work, we present a method to have multiple monitors each with a different task that can meet the technical requirements of engineering students, these features are achieved through the use of virtual reality glasses Oculus Gest II with a software application Immersed, with these tools we obtain as a result the display on the glasses of multiple monitors configured in each of them to the needs of the student, We indicate in the part of the materials and methods the technical requirements of hardware and software as well as the procedures for the installation and configuration where it is necessary a computer with internet access, in the results we present a demonstration of how to use the method and an example of the exploitation of the resources that these tools provide us added to the access that can be had from mobile devices to replicate what is being observed in the virtual reality glasses.Publicación Sólo datos Muscle temperature analysis, using thermal imaging, applied to the treatment of muscle recovery(2023-01-31) Christian Ovalle; Wilver Auccahuasi; Sandra Meza; Karin Franklin-Cordova-Buiza; Miryam Rojas; Miryam Cosme; Gabriel Inciso-Rojas; Hernando Martin Campos Aiquipa; Alfonso Martínez; Aly FuentesThe images help in the different processes where a visual interpretation of a scene is required, in this sense we find many applications where images are used to analyze, interpret and classify certain objects within the image, there are different types of images generated by different sensors, in this paper describes a method to analyze the behavior of the muscle, mainly of the knee, when performing rehabilitation exercises, coupled with an optical image where you can see the state of the muscle and the location, the method proposed as a super position between optical and thermal images, with the intention of being able to know the state of the optical image and to have the same image with information of the behavior of the temperature, the super position that we propose is to have as a base the optical image and on placing the thermal image, the results that are presented are oriented in proposing a new way of analyzing data with thermal information of the behavior of the muscles, by means of a complex image with optical and thermal information, the method is an aid in the treatment of muscular recovery, with the benefits of being scalable and applicable to other muscles and parts of the human body.
