Implementation of E-Learning System for Training the Municipal Officials in the Registry Department of Los Olivos Municipality

Resumen

Nowadays, the poor quality of service offer by the municipal staff is caused by the number of documentary errors like not knowing the structures of the forms they manage or the poor knowledge they manage about the procedures of the area they work, for that reason the implementation of an e-learning system for the training of the staff of the desk area of the municipality of Los Olivos will be presented. The ability of an e-learning system to train municipal officials will enable them to reduce the number of errors and become efficient workers serving the public. This system was developed with framework Scrum. In the case of the tools, we used for the implementation were the following softwares: wordpress, draw IO, Microsoft 365 and figma. The results were evaluated, and the implementation of an e-learning system improved the training of the officials in the Front Desk department of Los Olivos by 35%, as the virtualization of the resources managed by this system helped efficiently manage aspects such as content, grading indicators, and boosted operational development, resulting in their effectiveness. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
