Revisión sistemática de literatura del concepto “organización criminal” mediante el modelo PRISMA

Resumen

The growth in the number of criminal organisations and their complexity, in terms of conceptual variety, theoretical implications and empirical challenges, have made it difficult for researchers to generate sufficient theories, studies of causes and scales to categorise and explain the phenomena. The characterisation of these organisations and the approach to defining them is complex both because of the diversity of their social impacts and because of the broad range of thematic areas they address. This study shows the trends in research and study of criminal organisations by conducting a systematic literature review of the years 2022 and 2023, using the PRISMA method and exploring current trends in academic research and bibliographic production on the subject. © 2024 Policia Nacional de Colombia.
