dc.description.abstractICT-enhanced educational tools and approaches offer a new range of options and opportunities to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning to boost individual student performance and thus, in many cases, avoid the challenge of exclusion and poverty related to skills deficit. The authors suggest that digital games, online applications, tablet use, MOOCs, and micro courses can boost student exposure to specific course material, thus assisting in the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
